Two types of chlorine
Disinfecting the pool water is done with chlorine.
There are two types of chlorine. Do you need to use both of them? Yes!
The first type is fast-acting chlorine (Chlorifix). You use this chlorine when starting up your pool, before you leave on a trip, or when your chlorine needs to go up quickly.
This chlorine is in the form of powder, granulate. You should never throw the granules directly into the water, because if you do, you will get white spots at the bottom of your pool.
What should you do then? Take a bucket of pool water and add the appropriate amount of rapid chlorine into the bucket. Once the chlorine is completely dissolved in the bucket, you may add the water with the dissolved fast chlorine to the pool.
First, bring the chlorine level up to the right level with the fast chlorine and then switch to long-acting chlorine.
Once you have brought the chlorine level up to the required level, switch to long-acting chlorine (chlorilong). Long-acting chlorine is available in tablets. you must never throw the tablets directly into the water; if you do, you will get white spots on the bottom of your pool. Put the tablet(s) in the skimmer or in the doser.
Depending on how much water you have, put the number of tablets in the skimmer or doser. The number of tablets you need is always stated on the chlorine packaging.

Help, my chlorine level is too high!
If the chlorine level is much too high, there is no chlorine reducer.
The only thing you can do is to leave the cover over the pool, so the chlorine will evaporate faster. Be careful with way too much chlorine in the water, it can be harmful!
