Why cover the pool?
A pool cover is not a major investment, but it's certainly worth it!
Warm up your pool water with a cover
By placing a cover on the pool, the temperature is not unnecessarily lost. The cover lies on the water and this ensures that the wonderful temperature of the pool water stays in the water.
Warm up your pool water with a cover
The colour (dark blue) and the material of the cover attract the sun. Especially a solar cover or also called bubble cover absorbs the warmth of the sun and transfers it to the pool water. In the cover there are all kinds of studs, the heat is stored in them and the water floats between the studs. Because the bubble wrap transmits the sun's heat to the water, the temperature can rise up to 5°C
Avoid leaves and other debris in the pool water
A cover prevents leaves from falling from the trees into the water. Also other dirt, such as nuts, acorns, bird droppings,... is stopped by the cover. This saves a lot of work cleaning the pool and reduces the use of your pool products.
Intex closed cover versus Intex sun cover
There are two types of cover for Intex pools.
A closed cover and a solar cover.
Closed cover
A closed cover allow the least amount of dirt and leaves to enter the water.
The closed cover can be easily stretched around the pool with a rope. The rope is integrated in the cover. The dark blue colour helps to warom up the pool, but by using the solar cover, you can warm up the pool more. At some pools the closed cover is included in a pool package.
Solar cover
A solar cover keeps the dirt and leaves out of the pool and it heat up the pool water at the same time. The cover floats on the water, so it can't sink into the water. Intex sunscreens are made specifically for Intex pools and fit most pool models. Both round and rectangular sails are available.
