How much product should I add to my water?
To know how much product to add to your pool or spa water, you first have to measure. To measure there are different measuring instruments on the market, with us, you can choose from a wide range of measuring instruments.
Besides the measuring instruments, we also offer the corresponding calibration liquids and tablets.
Yellow 4-in-1 test strips
For a quick and easy measurement of your pool water so you an swim safely. With these test strips you can measure 4 important values: Free chlorine, pH, total alkalinity, cyanuric acid (This is important for outdoor pools and pools that are subject to chlorine degradation by UV rays).

Properties

Application
Use: measure your water 2 times a week.
- Calibrate the appliance when it is first used and afterwards as maintenance of the appliance depends on its use;
- Remove the black protective cap before measuring;
- Place the electrode 4 cm deep in the sample (beaker with water to be measured);
- Shake the electrode very gently in the sample and wait until the icon on the top left has disappeared;
- The pH value will now appear on the display;
- When several samples have to be measured in succession, rinse the electrode before each new measurement;
- Use Hanna cleaning fluid to chemically clean your pH electrode.

Checker digital chlorine tester
Digital chlorine tester from the brand Hanna.
Properties
- Do not hold the instrument under water
- Very accurate meter
- Works with the inclueded reagent powder.
Addition
Use: measure your water 2 times a week.
- Press the round button to switch the meter on;
- Fill the enclosed cuvette (glass jar) up to the mark with pool or spa water. Place the cuvette in the meter and close the lid;
- Press the button again. The meter is now set to zero= 'ZERO';
- Remove the cuvette from the meter and add one bag of free chlorine reagents to the cuvette. Shake briefly to dissolve the powder. Reinsert the cuvette into the meter and close the lid;
- Wait one minute and then press the button;
- The result of the measurement now appears on the display.
Trutest digital test strip reader
The water test strips are digitally analysed by the test unit, this recognising even the smallest colour deviations. The result is shown on the clearly laid-out display in truly exact units:

Addition
- Turn on the device by pressing On/Offf button
- Press the start button and simultaneously dip a strip into the water. Immediately remove the test strip from the water and shake the excess water from the strip with a simple flick of the wrist.
- Place the strip in the back of the channel with the coloured squares facing down. DO NOT SLIDE THE TEST STRIP OVER THE GLASS.
- Wait for the results. (Do not hold the strip.) Digital results for free chlorine, pH and total alkalinity appear within seconds. Check the status of your results for each parameter. The status LO=low, OK=ideal, HI= high is shown to the left of each digital value.
Scuba II electronic pool water tester
The operation of this water tester is fast and simple. Fill the small glass cuvette with water from your pool, let one of the tablets (of the value you want to measure) dissolve in it and read the values on the LCD display. If you want to test a different value afterwards, put new water in the cuvette and use another tablet that is suitable for the value you want to measure. When you have finished measuring, rinse and dry the cuvette (the sample chamber) dry.

Application
Use: measure your water 2 times a week
- Switch the device ON/OFF;
- Fill the sample chamber completely with water by immersing it. While doing so, swivel the device back and forth slightly. Remove the appliance from the water;
- Close the sample chamber with the lid;
- Presse the ZERO/TEST button. 000" will flash for approx. 8 seconds. Afterwards the display shows "0.0.0". .
- Select analysis with the MODE button: CL (Free chlorine/total chlorine) apH a TA a Cya a CL... (scroll) .
- Remove the lid and add the required tablet.
- Crush the tablet with the stirring rod and dissolve it completely by stirring.
- Close the sample chamber with the lid again. Swirl the apparatus back and forth for 15 seconds, do not shake.
- Then hold the apparatus still and wait
15 sec: CIF (free chlorine) / pH / CyA (cyanic acid)
2 min: CIT (total chlorine) / TA (alkalinity)
- Press button "Zero/Test". A bar symbol "---" flashes for approx. 6 seconds. The result (mg/l) appears on the display. Or:
