Zone Therapy

Your American Whirlpool can help you with the physician designed zone therapy. Zone Therapy uses strategically placed jets to work on specific muscular pain areas. More jets does not necessarily mean a more effective massage. Rather, the appropriate size and massage action on the jet are the key to relieving pain and stiffness throughout the body. The Zone Therapy concept was designed by medical specialists in the field of physical rehabilitation and massage therapy.

Zone 1: Suboccipital: The muscles located at the border of the neck and the back of the head. The tension of these muscles can be the cause of headaches. The comfort collar gently cradles your head while a series of optimally placed cyclone jets work on this zone.
Zone 2: Trapezius: The musles in the neck and shoulders. Tension of these muscles can cause a heavy and pianful feeling in the shoulders and upper back. A series of cyclone jets work these sensitive areas and improve blood circulation.
Zone 3: Paraspinal: Tension in the muscles on either side of the spine can be the cause of many medical problems. The efficient combination of a series of large and small Cyclone swirl jets provides a gentle stimulation that relaxes the body.
Zone 4: Lumbosacral: The muscles in the lower back. Muscle tension in the lower back can cause pain. Many people suffer from this. The large XL Cyclone Swirl jets are specially designed to direct a broad rotating jet of water precisely at and around the points of pain.
Zone 5: Gluteal: Tension in the muscles of the hips and thighs. These tensions are caused by prolonged stitting. For this purpose, special jets have been placed on the side of the tub.
Zone 6: Foot Relief Zone: Sore and tired feet affect our entire well-being, as the feet contain many important nerve endings that are connected to the entire body. This zone is treated with stimulating water streams, which provide a complete relaxation of the body.

ThermaMAAX Jets
The patented TheraMAAX Jets use a scientifically designed grill around the nozzle. This grill reduces resistance on moving parts and the cohesion of the jet stream. The ThermaMAAX design maximises the performance and improves the massage action. The stainless steel rosette with 3 spokes fits the hand perfectly, has a natural shape and the appropriate position ensures the optimal power of the jet.

1. Weir door: Interrupts water flow and traps dirt
2. First Filter: removes oil and ultra particles down to 10 microns
3. Basket: retains dirt before filtering for easy removal.
4. Spa Filter: Oversized filter cleans the high intake water of 1000 gpm and returns it to the spa.
    

Northern Exposure
Northern Exposure is the ultimate insulation system for hot tubs. This thermal barrier technology recycles heat energy for more efficient heating and lower energy costs. The four sides of the spa, plus the floor and hood, are lined with reflective copper material to return radiant heat energy generated by the pumps back into the spa. Heat is reabsorbed by the pipes, raising and maintaining the water temperature. Finally, the entire exterior of the spa is encased in 3M Thinsulate insulation, the same great material used in winter clothing. This three-layer system ensures that the energy created in the spa stays in the spa.
