Scrubbing

What is exfoliation?
Exfoliation is the removal of dead skin cells from your body.
Losing skin cells is natural. It is how the skin renews itself automatically. By exfoliating, you give your skin a helping hand and remove dead skin. This way, you can prevent pimples and prevent ingrown hairs. Scrubbing also has a positive effect if done just before a sauna or hammam session. Because the dead skin cells are removed, the pores are well cleared and the blood flow in the skin is stimulated by the rubbing movements.
This makes it easier to get rid of the waste products in the skin during sweating. This improves the effect of the sauna considerably

How to exfoliate?
To exfoliate, you need water and scrubbing salt or sugar.
Wet your skin thoroughly and apply some scrubbing salt or sugar to the skin. Rub the scrub in circular movements over the skin. Rub gently (don't overdo it) and use plenty of scrub. Make sure you rub evenly and not too much in the same place, as this will cause irritation.
Use some water afterwards, to make the scrubbing less harsh and to remove it evenly. Rinse te scrub thoroughly with water and you're done!
Your skin will feel radiant and soft again.
