PPG Glass filter Media
The PPG glass filter media is one of the best glass media on the market. The glass is first washed and disinfected adn then carefully broken into the desired shape and size. the PPG glass exists in three different thicknesses. The different grades are indicated by grade 1, 2 and 3. The higher the grade, the thicker the glass grains are. It's very important to check carefully, on your filter or in the manual, which degree PPG glass is recommended for your filter. A too high grade can cause your water to be insufficiently filtered. If the grade is too low, it may cause glass to be washed into the pool. 
For Intex glass filters we recommend PPG glass filter media grade 1. Or as long as stock lasts Intex glass filter media.
