FOOTBATH: in Kneipp's therapy baths, the warm footbath is used for various therapies.
In most public sauna, the foot baths have a depth of up to approx. 20 cm.
The bath can be filled with lukewarm to hot water, as desired, up to a circulation bath with filtered and chlorinated water.
The effect of the footbath is based on the so-called "footh sole reflex. By stimulating the nerve endings under the feet, a reflex action is triggered throughout the body, the skin relaxes and the pores open and the sweat glands begin to work.
